Combined we have more than 60 years experience in quality assessment and grading of coins and bank notes, and a broad specialized knowledge in the various fields of numismatics, which can help you if you visit our stores in Odense or Copenhagen. We buy from private indivuals as well as businesses, and we offer assistance to lawyers, estate executors, auction houses, coin clubs, and other interested parties in the world of numismatics. We also posses our own numismatic library of specialized litterature for reference, and have access to auction databases to cross reference current and past sales on better numismatic items. We offer the best prices for gold and silver coins. Have a look at our “COIN BUY-LISTS” where you can see the current prices we offer on a broad range of coins. We buy all matter of coins and bank notes, Danish and foreign, from better single pieces, collections of any sizes, and large valuable collections as well. We also buy obsolete Danish 1. 2. 5. 10, and 25 øre coins at a price pr kilo, if they are sortet in advance by metal type. Gold and silver are the main value drivers at the moment, but there are also many older numismatically interesting coins in non-precious metals which are valuable and interesting. We buy everything, in open dialogue with you, if you visit our stores.
In 2025 the face value of a number of Danish bank notes will become void. All 1000 kroner notes, and all older series of notes than the current version will stop being exchangeable. Danish Gold And Coin Shop have an interest in all bank notes of cause, but the market value of these vulnerable notes are uncertain. You are always welcome to contact us with questions about your notes.

Once sortet, we appraise the value of your items. We can test gold and silver with our advanced equipment, and with our expertise in coin, banknotes, jewellery, design and collectibles, we make sure to give you the best possible price for your valuables.
While a few items may easily bear the majority of the value, we make an offer to buy the collection of items in its entirety. We understand that some items may hold a sentimental value and is cause for consideration. Once all is concluded you'll fill out some paperwork and recieve your payment from us.
On smaller transactions we are able to pay out cash, but larger transactions have legal restrictions that require a bank transfer. For bank transfers we always offer an instant transfer with no fees to you, so you'll have the money in a matter of minuttes.
Once we have purchased your valuables it is our privilege to give them a new lease on life. Coins and banknotes will go out to a broad number of new collectors: Jewellery will be cleaned and shined up to be sold to new eager owners to appreciate them. Badly damaged pieces will be recycled for their precious materials to be re-used.
