1 Conditions for buying and selling in our physical stores or at home

1.2 Purchasing in our physical stores
Our physical stores are located in Odense and København, where you are always welcome to visit during our opening hours. We have a large selection of vintage jewellery, coins, and other valuables and collectibles in all priceclasses, and our stock is substantially larger than what is shown in the webshop.
1.2.1 Payment
When you buy valuables in our stores you can pay with cards (Visa, Mastercard), MobilePay, or banktransfer. If you pay with banktransfer the purchased items cannot be released until the payment has reached our bank account.
1.2.2 Returning a purchase
When you have been in our physical stores, examined an item, and then purchased it, the item is considered sold as seen and you default your right to return it for a refund. However, we are more than happy to help if you regret your purchase, so you are welcome to come in and see if we can work out a deal and maybe exchange the item for another.
1.3 Sell in our stores or at home
If you have items, valuables, or collections, we are happy to offer a non-binding evaluation in our store in the regular opening hours, or in your home by appointment.
1.3.1 Conditions
In order to sell something to Danish Gold And Coin Shop you must be a legal adult of 18 years of age and show a legal piece of identification such as a drivers license or passport. This is necessary in order to fullfill the transaction in compliance to Danish laws. We use Kosterbog, which is approved by the Danish police.
1.3.2 Sorting, testing, and weighing of your items
When you bring your valuables to our store or in your home, which need valuation, we will sort them with you. In our shops we have cutting edge x-ray equipment which is primarily used to test silver and gold. Some items may require cutting, filing, or acid testing in addition to x-ray analysis in order to fully determine their contents. We always take into consideration the best and least destructive ways to ensure the integrety of your items, and all testing is done in open dialogue with you before we do anything that may compromice the items, and all possible destructive testing of the items will be with your consent and responsability, and therefore Danish Gold And Coin Shop cannot be made responsible for damaging your items. Processing your valuables, which may include appraisal, karat testing, x-ray, and weighing, is done free of charge as part of our services.
1.3.3 Filling out a sales agreement
If you accept our offer to buy your valuables you must in accordance with Danish law fill out a sales agreement in order to document the legality of our deal. In order to fill out this agreement, you will need to provide the following information: Full name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and identification information which is a legal drivers license, passport, or ID of equal level. The sales agreement will include your personal informations, price and describtion of the items sold. When you sign the sales agreement you agree to have fully understood the conditions of the sale, and is bound to these conditions in their entirety, which includes the transfer of ownership to Danish Gold And Coin Shop.
1.3.4 Payment
Payments is exclusively done by banktransfer to Danish bank accounts
1.3.5 Returns
Upon your accept of our offer and signature on the sales agreement, you formally accept that the right to have your items returned is void. The ownership has been transfered and your item may be sold as is, processed, or melted down.
1.3.6 Personal information
Your personal informations will be treated confidentially and only used to the extent of fulfilling your business with Danish Gold And Coin Shop in accordance with Danish Law.
1.3.7 Data safety
We treat your personal information safely and confidentially, in accordance with current Danish laws, such as the General Data Protection Regulation and the Danish Data Protective Legislation. Your information will only be used for the purpose of which it is collected and will be deleted when no longer relevant. The Danish Police and other relevant authorities may gain access to the information to the extent which they find it necessary.

2.2 Conditions
In order to do business with us you must be a legal adult of 18 years of age. Are you under 18 years of age you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
In order to place a purchase with us you must do the following:
1. Find the items you wish to purchase and add it to your basket.
2. Click on the basket to enter the basket
3. Go to check-out and select shipping method
4. Put in your personal information in the required fields
5. Select payment method.
6. Consent to our terms and conditions, personal information policy, and statement of truth.
7. Examine the information you have entered, and confirm the purchase if they are correct.
2.3 Order products
On www.gold-coins.dk you can buy valuables on our webshop. We do have a much larger selection of products in our physical stores than is shown on the webshop, and if you have any questions or inquiries for specific items we might sell please contact us by e-mail or over the phone. A purchase placed on www.gold-coins.dk is a binding purchase for you as the customer. After placing an order you will recieve an order confirmation on the e-mail you have registered. Your order is only legally binding for Danish Gold And Coin Shop when you have recieved a confirmation and invoice by e-mail. In some instances it may prove necessary to collect further information and documentation of you as a buyer, or the origin of the money you are spending, before the order can be fully fullfilled. Danish Gold And Coin Shop reserve the right to cancel an order in case of technical errors, textual errors, or incomplete documentations.
2.4 Payments
2.4.1 Payment by card
Danish Gold And Coin Shop accepts card payments from VISA-Dankort, VISA. VISA Electron, Mastercard.
Payments by card will only be deducted from your card when the purchase is being shipped. We do not charge fees when using card payments. When paying with a card please make sure the name on the invoice and the card holder is the same. Danish Gold And Coin Shop uses an authorized payment server which encrypts all your card informations. This is to secure your informations cannot be detected.
2.4.2 Payment using MobilePay
You can pay using MobilePay on online purchases. The payment will only be deducted when the purchase is being shipped. We do not charge fees when using MobilePay payments. When using MobilePay for payment, the name on the invoice must match the name of the payer.
2.4.3 Payment by Banktransfer
When using banktransfer to pay for purchases, the payment must be recieved by us, Danish Gold And Coin Shop, no later than 3 working days after placing the order. If payment is recieved later than 3 working days we reserve the right to cancel the order. Make sure to include your order or invoice number as reference when making a banktransfer payment.

When making a banktransfer payment you are not covered by the Danish Objection Procedure. It is important that banktransfer payments are done from your own account, so that the name of the account holder and the name on the order placed is the same. Danish Gold And Coin Shop does not accept third party payments.
2.5 Shipping
Danish Gold And Coin Shop pack and ship twice a week – Tuesday and Friday.
Our normal delivery times from recieving your order is typically 3-5 working days Within Denmark. International shipping times may vary, feel free to contact us for a shipping time estimate.
Within Denmark we usually ship with PostNord or GLS, to package shops unless other terms have been agreed upon beforehand.
Shipping cost within Denmark is as follows:
order value below 5000 DKK – 50 DKK shipping
order value above 5000 DKK – Free shipping.
International shipping requires a former agreement with Danish Gold And Coin Shop, please inquire before making your purchase.
2.6 Collecting purchases in our physical stores
If you wish to collect a purchase in our physical locations please bring a passport or drivers license for identification, and if possible the card used for payment, which should owned by the same person who made the purchase. In order to collect a purchase in our physical stores you must contact us beforehand so we can coordinate which store it will be collected in, and when. When collecting a purchase in our physical stores you need not pay for any shipping cost. Collection must be made within 1 calendar month of the purchase.
It is essential that the informations on your passport or drivers license, and card used for payment or banktransfer, is consistent. It is not allowed for a third party to collect your purchase on your behalf. The person who made the purchase must be the same person who collects it in our stores, or have it shipped.
2.7 Whitewashing
In order to comply with whitewashing regulations, Danish Gold And Coin Shop may under certain conditions request further personal informations of the buyer, such as the origin of the money used for the transaction or other personal information. If the buyer is unable to deliver satisfactory information upon this request it is within the rights of Danish Gold And Coin Shop to cancel the purchase.
2.8 Guarantees of authenticity
Danish Gold And Coin Shop guarantees the authenticity and legitimicy of all of our products. Our guarantee is based on dutyfull testing using our cutting edge technology, such as our x-ray machine and other control tests.
If the buyer is able to produce new evidence against the authenticity of a product, using concrete non-destructive means and analysis, we fully accept the return of the item for a full refund.
It is a condition for the refund that the item is returned in the same condition as it was bought, hence the requirement of non-destructive means.
2.9 Pricing errors
If a price on a product advertised is obviously incorrect, and you as a buyer should be able to deduct this error, we reserve the right to withhold the sale of the given item. We are not responsible or force majeure conditions and will only be held liable for conditions rightfully applicable under Danish law.
2.10 Right to return a purchase
In accordance with the Danish purchasing law, vi offer a 2 year complaints right to return a purchase when you buy from us as a private consumer.
Please contact us before you ship the item for a return. The right to return is conditioned on faults in the product such as material and/or fabrication errors. The right to return does not apply to items damaged by incorrect usage and handling.
If your return is justifiable, it means you are entitled to get your purchase repaired, exchanged, refunded, or recieve a price deduction, depending on the unique situation of the matter.

2.11 Returns and refunds
Danish Gold And Coin Shop covers the cost of the return so long it is within fair standard market price range for shipping it, and so long the return is justified under the conditions above. A return must always be packed safely. If the return of an item is due to damage suffered under the original shipping out to you, it is critical that you supply proper documentation for the condition of the item, the shipping material, and the physical apperance of the shipment to you. This documentation is important in order to expedite the handling of the refund to you. When you return a purchase to us, please include a detailed description of the issue causing the return, as well as documentation thereof in the form of pictures.
When we recieve a returned item we always make an assessment of the items condition, and any damage done to the item during the return is the responsability of the buyer and the refunded amount may be deducted by the decrease of value from these damages.
In cases where a full or partial refund is agreed upon, please send us the information required for a bank transfer to your account.
2.12 Right of cancellation
As a private consumer you have 14 days standard right to cancell a purchase made online for any reason.
The right expires 14 days after the date which you recieved the purchase. If your order contains several purchases, but they are delivered on different dates, your right expires after 14 days of recieving the last item in your order. In case of an agreement of regular deliveries over a predetermined period of time, your right expires after 14 days of recieving the first delivery.

Danish Gold And Coin Shop register and store information about our customers in accordance with current laws and regulations, in order to be able to contact a buyer about their orders.
2.15 Personal information
In order to do business with us we need the following information about you: Name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. More information may be requested in connection with larger transactions. We collect and share personal information with third parties in order to arange delivery to your address. Therefore your information can be shared with select shipping partners such as PostNord and GLS.
You have the right to know which personal information of yours we have collected. If you believe the information is incorrect you have the right to have them corrected. In some cases we are forced to delete personal information upon your request. If you believe your personal information is being managed incorrectly or against current legislation you are welcome to contact us.
